Fatima’s Story /Fatima Ahajdane/ opens the new E-volution Media Stories section — a space dedicated to personal journeys, youth experiences, volunteering, creativity and intercultural encounters.
Fatima came from Morocco to Bulgaria as part of a European Solidarity Corps volunteering project and spent 12 months living, learning and working in a new cultural environment. At the end of her project, she shares an emotional reflection on her experience — the people she met, the moments she will remember, the challenges she faced and the personal growth that came with this journey.
Her story is not only about volunteering abroad. It is also about discovering a new place, building friendships, becoming more independent and learning how meaningful a year away from home can be. Through her voice, we see how international volunteering can create strong human connections and leave a lasting impact both on the volunteer and on the local community.
This first episode of E-volution Media Stories invites us to listen more closely to the personal side of youth projects — the emotions, memories and transformations that often stay behind the official reports and project results.
