Volunteering Initiative Revitalizes Bulgarian Village of Mindya

 

From June 15th, 2024, the beautiful village of Mindya in Bulgaria became the vibrant hub of a remarkable short-term European Solidarity Corps project. This initiative, fueled by the enthusiasm and dedication of youth volunteers from Armenia, Turkey, and Bulgaria, aimed at fostering cross-cultural exchange while contributing to local sustainability efforts.

The project, a collaborative effort supported by the European Union, exemplifies the spirit of solidarity and environmental stewardship.

Participants, a dynamic mix of Armenian, Turkish, and Bulgarian young people, embarked on a mission to bring new life to discarded materials and promote eco-friendly practices within the village.
