On the third day of our volunteering project in Mindya, our focus shifted to preparing the wood for protection painting. We diligently sanded and primed the surfaces, ensuring they were ready for the paint that would shield them from the elements. This phase marked the transition from construction to preservation.
In addition to the painting, we took time to clean up the workspace, making it ready for upcoming events that the volunteers plan to organize, inviting the local villagers to join. The cleanup was essential not only for aesthetics but also for safety and efficiency in future activities.
The organization team continued to provide unwavering support, guiding us through each task and addressing any challenges we encountered. Their expertise and encouragement kept our momentum strong.
With the wood now prepped and the space cleared, we look forward to seeing the community’s reaction to our efforts. The anticipation builds as we prepare for day four, which promises more exciting developments and deeper community engagement.
