From Old Wood to New Purpose: Day 2 of Volunteering in Mindya

On the second day of our volunteering project in Mindya, the team continued its dedication to sustainability and creativity. We began by smoothing out old wood, preparing it for painting later on.

The process was similar to the first day as we constructed multiple wooden composters. The addition of new tools significantly boosted our efficiency, allowing us to accomplish more in less time. The organization team played a crucial role in guiding us through challenges, ensuring we overcame any difficulties and stayed on track. Our efforts brought us closer to our goal of fostering a sustainable community.

The shared experience of working together continued to strengthen the bonds among volunteers from Armenia, Turkey, and Bulgaria, making the project not just about environmental stewardship, but also about building lasting friendships and cultural understanding. The positive impact of our work was evident, and the anticipation of painting and finalizing the wood pieces kept our spirits high as we looked forward to the coming days.
